L'Oreal Ever Pure

Since I have dry curly hair I feel the need for deep moisture.
Since its sulfate free and supposed to help protect color I gave it a try, used it for the first time last night.

L'Oreal EverPure Moisture Deep Restorative MasqueI thought it had a weird smell.
And my hair is not soft.

I will keep looking.

Clinique gel moisture

My dermatologist always recommends Clinique products.
When I needed a gel type moisturizer I tried this one.

Kinda pricey as all Clinique products go, but probably worth it.
Its light and no weird smell.

I like it

Pinterest led me to this wonderful website this morning,

could be a real time waster ;)

Burt's Bees

I like this lip balm.
Just a little hint of color.
Lots of moisture (good for me since I am addicted to lip junk)

I find them at Walgreen's on clearance often.
Since I keep one in my purse,
one in my desk drawer,
and some rolling around in odd places,
I grab a few when they are $1.39.

Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads

I hate my skin

I have wrinkles around my eyes.
Ruddy red cheeks.
and breakouts on my chin.

I am always looking for some miracle.
If its out there, I haven't found it yet.
But I like these.

About $6 at Walmart. There are 28 super soaked pads in the jar.
They are generous in size so super cheap frugal me, I cut them in half.  Plenty to wash the make-up off my face,
gentle enough to not aggravate my cheeks,
and my skin is soft.

Yes to Cucumbers Eye Gel

Maybe yes to cucumbers,
but no to this.

It IS soothing, cooling.
But its sticky and left a layer of yuck. ..I thought my skin was peeling at first (Yikes!) but it was just the residue.
I suppose I could use it at night, but I like something a little more anti-aging at my age (47)

If you are young and just want a little soothing treat, you might like it. I won't buy it again.

100% Pure Eye Creme

100% Pure Coffee Bean Eye Creme

I use this pretty much every morning. Dot a little under my eyes. It smells wonderful. Kind of chocolate-y coffee-y  yummy-ness.

I have always had super red cheeks. Sensitive and warm to the touch. I started looking into "calming products" - was not liking the price tags I was finding. But I noticed a lot of them had caffeine in them. So I am doing a little experiment of my own. Dotting a little of this on my cheeks under my tinted moisturizer the past few mornings.  Not seeing any difference, but its only been 2 days...

I see on the 100% pure website it comes in a tube now. I still have half a bottle left, wonder when they switched?  Anyway, $19.00 for an ounce.
Well ...after dealing with 100% pure customer service, I would not recommend shopping with them at all.

Alpha Hydrox

I have used Alpha Hydrox AHA souffle for several years.
Good results, I get lots of compliments
(the best one ever from a surgeon who thought he had the wrong chart, no way was I "that old"
Well, oops, I was! )  that my skin looks young. I personally think all my fat fills in the wrinkles.
And a good price, around $15 at the drugstore and a little goes a long way.

I need to find something gentler (more gentle?) .
My skin is getting so sensitive, I have been searching for something that will calm down the redness. And I need some serious SPF that's not oily.

L'occitane Hand Cream

Yummy shea buttery goodness in a tube.
Smells wonderful, sinks in to my skin quickly and makes them oh-so-soft.

Would make a wonderful gift. $10 for a 1 oz tube at Sephora.

Josie Maran Argon oil

I'm back.
For how long?
who knows?

Does anyone care?
probably not.

Anyway.
I love this stuff.

I got mine from QVC. But I have also seen it on sephora.

$48 for 1.7 oz at sephora.com
But I think its worth every penny.
I have had my bottle for 2 months and I have barely made a dent in it!
A few drops massaged into my skin after I wash my face in the morning, makes my skin soft all day.
Even though its an oil, its not oily - more like a serum.
My always broke out chin even looks better!

When I found out it was full of vitamin E I started rubbing some into the scars on my elbows every night.
Not sure if it will make a difference, but it can't hurt. They are such big ugly scars, I hate them!
